Volunteers with this ministry have seen people who have had an apartment for several weeks who still sleep, eat, and sit on the floor. Basic furnishings make these spaces a home and increase the likelihood that people will be successful in staying in their places.

How does the donation process work?To donate, simply fill out the form below. Once we receive your information and have confirmed that the donation is something we can accept, we'll finalize donation details. You have two options: 1. Drop off the furniture yourself at our storage unit in De Soto at any time that is convenient for you 2. Schedule a time for the furniture ministry volunteer team to pick up your donation

Does Hope Furniture Ministry accept financial donations?To keep our ministry simple, we do not accept financial offerings. However, if you don't have extra furniture to donate but still want to support the mission, we have a range of needed items available on our Amazon Wishlist that you can purchase and have shipped to our directors for distribution. What does "gently used" mean?To donate furniture, it needs to be free from stains, tears, and other similar damage. Some minimal wear and tear is expected and can be accepted. We ask for pictures before providing drop-off instructions or finalizing a pick-up time.
Have a donation? Please choose either "Self Drop-Off" or "Request Pickup" depending on your ability to transport your donation and schedule. Pickups are typically available once a month on Sunday afternoons.
A letter of donation from the church for tax purposes can be provided after the donation has been received.
Self Drop-Off
Once your information has been received and we confirm that we can accept your donation, we'll provide instructions for self drop-off at our storage facility, Right Lane Storage, in De Soto.
